Hello, hello! 👋
My name’s Wendy Ng, and I’m a startup-wise Product Designer who enjoys working in e-commerce, website builder, and fin tech spaces. I love the challenge of design ambiguity, limited resources, and building compassionate yet effective teams.
At Bookmark, I was the principle product designer and manager of projects between product and engineering. Although I was new to it, I persuaded them to hire the right team members, become acquainted with the benefits of user testing, and adopt the best tools (hey Figma!).
While my time on larger teams has taught me a lot, working on a small team has been incredibly eye-opening for me. I know how powerful it can be to collaborate, and ask for help.
On weekends, you'll likely find me tackling home projects in Toronto's east end 🏡, walking my rescue dog, hiking with friends, and practising mindfulness meditation. 🧘
